Contract Quantity and Denomination Converter Resources
Translate contracts into their stated denomination before using another formula.
The number typed into an order ticket may be a contract count, base quantity or quote face value. This converter makes that denomination explicit. For a linear contract it links contracts to base quantity; for an inverse contract it links contracts to quote face value using your supplied multiplier.
Contract Quantity and Denomination Converter
Convert explicit contract counts to base units or inverse quote face value using supplied multiplier units.
For a hypothetical linear contract with 0.001 BTC per contract, 100 contracts represent 0.1 BTC. Entering 0.1 as base quantity converts back to 100 contracts. This exact conversion is separate from whether the venue accepts that count under its order-step rules.

Contract references are valuable when they make the multiplier and payout denomination explicit. The comparison focuses on interpreting an order amount, not selecting the most profitable contract or ranking venue performance.
Compare documented roles using contract count versus order amount, multiplier denomination, quote and settlement currencies, payout type, venue order granularity. The Telegram channel we promote is disclosed in the first entry.
Read the comparisonPrepare useful inputs
Read the exact instrument specification. Choose linear or inverse and an input unit compatible with that payout type. The multiplier is base per contract for linear and quote per contract for inverse. Enter the total amount, not an unexplained symbol from an order screen.
Read results in their proper scope
The result names the resulting unit. It does not silently round the order or validate venue granularity. Quanto contracts require their own specification and are outside this linear/inverse conversion. A quote face value must not be fed into a base-quantity formula.
The worked example and method can be read without JavaScript. Running the calculator requires JavaScript; its form values remain in the browser, with no account connection or quote lookup for calculation.

USD contract size and order amount differ from BTC/ETH settlement units; base_currency alone does not identify contract_size units.
